ABP Ref Compensation guidelines
Team Leaders. ALL ABP players who wish participate in reffing must have completed and read the ref manual. A schedule of a one hour ABP certification ref class will be posted on the ABP website.
Please add this to your ABP and Team requirements
Only Active Team members may apply other may volunteer at anytime until they have been certified by ABP. All new team members must have this class if they want to be compensated.
Baseline Event Ref Comp Package summary
These rate may or may not be what ABP finally decided on.
This formula is used as a base line.
Event Assistant Coordinator/Head Ref: $75.00 per day –
(Time from Start to finish of event) TBD at each event.
Is in charge of all refs and volunteers on the playing field. Rules, Radio’s, Props, Mission refs zone refs and after event game clean up.
All other refs are compensated $50.00 per one day event 8-12 hours or one case of paint. Two day event rate of $100.00 for a two day event or two cases of paint include lunch voucher and 10.00 Admission voucher.
1\2 day refs’ volunteers are assigned on as needed bases. ½ days refs’ volunteers or ABP team refs. Volunteers are compensated with lunch, water and $10.00 free admission vouchers. 10.00 off case paint voucher
Should an individual request in lu of payment or paint they can purchase at our retail store price merchandise. No cash refunds or exchanges.
These rates may be changed or modified at anytime.
When a Sponsored Team has there own Sponsored Events. That rate is negotiated with the team from admission ticket sales and or other.
Open recreational park pay package:
ALL Compensated players are required to fill out a w-9 IRS form
TBD - These are usually paid part-time or full time staff members. Rate 8.00 hr.
Reffing, Cleaning Makers, Mask maintenance and garbage collection, field house cleaning.
