Wow, guys! What a great time! SSK is all home safely and washing out playing gear! We had so much fun at this event! What a close race right up until the end! And, rest assured, Xeno will have fun telling of his exploits with the "Nut & Bolt" fiasco for a while!
Thanks goes out to ABP and Kevin S for having us and showing us such great hospitality! By the way- nice to see you out on the field so much!!! Just goes to show you that not all proprietors stay behind the counter in the pro shop!
Big props to Chris, Kurb, and ALL of PCM for putting together a GREAT time! I only wish more players could have enjoyed this great event along with us! Thanks again to Taz from PCM for helping out big time all day as my CP ref!
Specter- You are an excellent competitor! I had a great time generaling against you and playing against your team! As much as I would love to play with you, I am very excited to play against you again soon! You and your boys are strong and stand-up ballers - exactly what SSK likes to play against! Tell Bo to quit smiling and go get me my coffee!
To our friends on Fracture- all I have to say is... wait 'til November!!!!
Myrtle Beach Mafia and all other Humungus players- Ya'll were great opposition! I welcome the chance to ball against you any time!!!
Addressing my Master Blasters:
My SSK brothers- You guys were as great as ever. Every time I need something done, you were right there to assist and when called on, to head it up! I couldn't ask for better comrades, and I couldn't be given better friends!
Assault & Battery- As our neighborhood bruisers from VA, you did not disappoint! Chowda was an EXCELLENT XO and was constantly on the field urging the battle forward- and he has excellent taste in cigars! Whether being called on for a mission, or just to assault the enemy CP, you guys were continuously in the fray! My hat's off to you all!
Chrono 301- You were my MVT and for good reason! You were relentless! I hope to share the field of battle with you very soon!!!
To MEAT MAFIA and all of the other great players, you all worked hard all day and never quit! You took orders and executed them without fail! Missions were knocked out, and objectives were obtained in excellent time and with specific precision! You aided in snapping up tons of gas points and utilized your roles wonderfully!
Thank you to the ABP staff for being great hosts! Also, thank you to the Comfort Inn N. Myrtle Beach- sorry for all the empty beer bottles!

Well you guys might not like me anymore after this, first thing i gota say port city we got nothin but respect for you guys, Weve always enjoyed playing with or against you, never had nothn bad to say till now. Now we dont have fancy jerseys, or real fancy guns and we dont really associate ourselves with the asskissers so we understand when the refs arnt really on our side. But bra, 5 min into the game im getin hassled bout bps with an 07 freestyle when the owners and his sons are usin egos that defnatly shoots faster thn 15 bps and your boy RAY the ref straight up told assault and battery where i was like 5 times in the woods, even after i told him i cud hear him and i put a shot passed his face, ya i dont play that nuts homie. Then at the tobacco barn we strategically moved up past the coordinates to avoid an enemy airstrike and when we set up to ambush the enemy your refs got in the way and got my boys shot up when we were clearly had the right to engage the enemy. We shot the nuts outa assault n battery we were on them all day after we realized these werent the kinda guys tht called themselves out when u shot them, no we actually had to shoot them till ur refs yelled at us. Like i said its not the first time weve been hated on by the refs, but it was the first time we ever left an event early. Now that i talked my nuts let me give some praise, Carolina Sabres we love playin with you guys your our type of soldiers never give up even when winning isnt an option. General well played the missions picked the right guys to go where, communicated great back n forth with us and we protected your ass for it. Fracture you guys are awsme it was our first time playin with yall and we were usually on other sides of the field but we cudnt have pushed like we did if it wasnt for yall. P.S. i think its yoda for Fracture im sorry bout your ink on your wrist bra, my partner ferd can fix that up for ya if you want, bill on me. Ray from the old Misfits, come join the Moonshine Miltia man tell them other guys your playn with some real ballers now. All in all it seemed like everyone enjoyed themselves, it was my buddys first time and even tho we got picked on a lil by the refs he said he was hooked and would come back with us in october.
Assault & Battery is back home safe in Virginia. We had a great time and we thank Kevin, PCM, and all the ABP regulars who showed us a warm welcome and hell of a game. We had a ton of fun at this event! Closest game we've been involved in, in a very long time.
Well done PCM! Thanks for putting together and reffing a GREAT game! I look forward to next years installment
Well done Humungous!
The Sabres, Fracture, MBM, and all the bad guys kept us running nonstop from one end of the field to the other. You are tenacious opponents! We had a great time balling against you all and would be honored to share the field with or against you anytime!
Rockstar - I'm not sure how I got roped into XOing but it was an honor to play on your command staff and return a favor owed. The honor was mine. Anytime, anywhere my brother..........but you still owe me
SSK - Our Virginia brothers.......awesome job. You guys are force mulitpliers and ass kickers. LOVE playing on the same side as you guys. We couldn't ask for better friends!
Chrono 301 and Meat Mafia- You were tough, resilient, and relentless! You made my job of XO and of field commander easy! I hope to share the field of battle with you all again soon.
A big shout out to the ABP staff for being such great hosts! Thank you to Myrtle Beach for the sunburns and credit card bills! Props to all my teammates for making a great end of summer bash!
Thanks again. We hope to see you all again soon!!!
The rest of the Carolina Sabers and myself are safely back home as well. I'm just back to recovering from this weekend! Did not want to open the gear back this morning! Man!
Anyway, ABP (Kevin) and PCM: Thanks to you guys for a great game! We have played at the field MANY times and it seems to just get better every time. ABP is like our second home and PCM you are like are best buds and brothers on and off the field!
To the Master Blasters: I would like to say what a game you guys gave us! It was tight till the final horn. In my 4 years of playing and commanding scenario games, I can say that this is the closest and hardest fought game I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. If it wasn't for SSK, Assault and Battery, Chrono 301 and the others, it would not have been possible! I was saying it all weekend, and I'll say it again here. "Can't wait until we are all playing together in November!"
Rockstar - you are a stand up guy from a player, a person, and a commander perspective! We were making the same jokes around the safety briefing and that just told me what type of game this was going to be. You are a model team captain and your team members are all great guys and fun to be around.
Now to my Humungus brethren.
Everyone that played for me this weekend (lets see if I can get them all listed) Carolina Sabers, Fracture, Moonshine Militia, Myrtle Beach Mafia, and other local players:
You guys left everything you had on the field Saturday. The heat was rough and after the afternoon shower, the humidity was worse! You guys pushed and pushed all day! I wish I could have given 5 MVTs!
Fracture - all day you were like the hammer and the Sabers were the Anvil. You guys play with the same strategy as us (Carolina Sabers) and never back down. That is why we play great together.
Moonshine Militia - First time I really got to know you guys and play with you. You guys were all over the field and worked hard for me and I appreciate it. I'm sorry about the incident at the tobacco barn. Remember its just a game and points don't matter. That is why the scenario teams are tighter. I hope to play with you again soon.
Myrtle Beach Mafia - Definitely a pleasure to meet you guys and to have you play with me. You kept pushing and never complained when I sent you out. I really appreciate your help and support!
I really appreciate the type of people that scenario paintball has allowed me to meet. At one time I thought no other group besides my college fraternity could be tighter and more honorable. I was wrong. Saturday I saw a group of people that are tighter than that. We are definitely brothers and comrades in arms. Too bad we have to go back to our regular jobs today. Not to sound cliche, but on Saturday, we were all 'Heroes for a Day'.
Thanks to all the teams that came out to Support ABP and PCM. As you know ABP aims to please. Keep that great news coming and the stories. I love to heard about all of them. My hat goes off to you players for such a well played and honorable game. And what about those guys from PCM, they rocked didn't they. Outstanding performance.
Thanks for coming and everyone have a great up coming season. I hopefully will see most of you at other event throughout the year.

Port City Militia would like to thank all the players that came out to our game and made it great! The sportsmanship was as high as we could of hoped for. I was glad to see the teams balanced and both sides did a bang up job performing missions and keeping your army on track! I hope you all had fun and it was great seeing so many people! I loved reffing the final battle and by far that was some of the hardest hitting play of the day! Watching you all fight over screwing nuts down onto the Octagon of Doom for 50 points each in the center of Tippman Town was a blast!
Blue side got 6 on during the final battle!
All in all I hope you all had fun! Special thanks to Adventure beach Paintball for allowing us to put on a game and supporting the team all the time. Carolina Sabers, South Side Killers, Fracture, Assault and Battery, Chrono 301, M.E.A.T Mafia, Moonshine Militia, Mytle Beach Misfits, Myrtle Beach Mafia and all the other players and teams that made this game great! Thank you as we couldn't of hoped for better results!
Look forward in playing with you all, in a game sometime soon!
Thanks for the feed back. I assure you cheating on the ref's end did not occur at anytime. When you say you heard Red (Ray) give away your position he was talking to me as I had just arrived on site when you fired your marker at us. A & B were in the woods a good ways away from us at the time that this occurred.
In regards to asking players to police their technology so that players are safe, it was our job to follow up on any complaints or if we think we hear a gun shooting to fast to check it out. I assure you we talked to many people about policing their own technology and not shoot more than 13 BPS. If we thought this was the case we simply acted on it to assure safety for the players. We were not targeting you by any means.
In regards to the barn incident. It was sad to have to stop play but when blue charged up after an arty strike they didn't realize some of yellow was still in play. (which is how battle goes) However after several blue got shot at close range and threw their markers to the ground and started charging yellow players in a violent manor I made the call to disrupt play in order to assure the safety of the players involved, and I killed everyone on the spot. There was nothing pretty about this moment in time.
Freelance we hold nothing against you and glad you came forward to resolve any tough feelings you may have. I hope this helps clarify some of what you mentioned. If you have any further question feel free to message me.
Suppression is the key, but it means nothing when no one takes the initiative to approach the lock.
